Several months ago Harvard came under attack when a professor helped write an article criticizing a so-called "Israel Lobby" for driving foreign policy in Washington to the detriment of U.S. interests. In 2004, Harvard returned a $2.5 million gift to the Divinity School from the president of the United Arab Emirates, after controversy arose over the president's ties to a think tank espousing anti-Semitic ideas.

Kline Shows Toughness against Sex Predators
Kline cites record on water rights, sex predators
Kline worked to get “Jessica’s Law” passed this year, increasing sentences for four types of sex crimes against children. Kline in addition, cited the regional cyber crimes task force in Kansas City, a partnership of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies to track and capture sex offenders who use the Internet to prey on children. He said 90 predators have been convicted because of this program.

Republican candidate Jim Barnett painted a picture of a state headed toward a budget crisis because of a court-ordered school funding bill it can't afford, overrun by illegal immigrants welcomed by the governor and suffering economic decline due to high taxes.

Federal authorities charged Jhanmay Molina-Perez, 27, of Jameson, with growing 1,000 or more marijuana plants The victims (and fellow drug dealers) were identified Friday as 38-year-old Pedro Coralez, of Hialeah, Fla., and 39-year-old Arnaldo Valdes, of Miami. Their bodies were found Wednesday.
